Stand Up India Scheme
A stand-up scheme has been started to provide loan facilities to the women of our country and the weak people from the economic status of SC and ST categories. Through this scheme, loans ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1 crore will be provided to women and people belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Through this scheme, poor people can start their own businesses by taking loans and can strengthen their financial condition. The main objective of this scheme is to increase the entrepreneurship of women and people of SC, and ST communities by giving them loans. This scheme is operated by the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance. Through this scheme, one woman from one family and one person from SC/ST family can take a loan. The female or male receiving through this scheme should have at least 51% shares.

Stand-Up India Scheme Interest Rate
Women and people of SC, and ST communities have been given eligibility to take loans from Stand Up India Scheme. The interest rate on taking a loan through this scheme has been fixed at 3%. Meaning if you take a loan from this scheme, then you will also have to pay 3% interest on that amount taken. You can deposit this loan in 7 years and the minimum time has been fixed for 18 months.
