PM SHRI Yojana 2023 

PM Shree Yojana was started by the Honorable Prime Minister of our country Narendra ji Modi on 5th September on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted after launching this scheme said that today on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, I am happy to announce a new initiative. 14500 schools will be developed and upgraded in the country through PM Shri Yojana. Through this scheme, 14500 schools will be given model school status, which will be fully implemented under the National Education Policy {NEP}. Through the PM Shree scheme, emphasis will be given to activities of the latest infrastructure like the latest technology, sports, smart classrooms, etc. in 14500 schools.

Purpose of PM Shree Yojana

The main objective of PM Shree Yojana is to upgrade 14500 schools out of government schools in the country. Through this scheme, 14500 schools will be upgraded as model schools.
